Modern Banking Platform on AWS
A secure digital banking experience with real-time insights and seamless onboarding.
We built a campus learning and student portal so learners, faculty, and admins could share one coherent system for courses, progress, and support — without boiling the ocean on day one.
Education · Case study
A growing education program running hybrid cohorts across campuses. Students juggled WhatsApp groups, shared drives, and a brittle legacy portal for schedules and submissions. Faculty lacked a clear view of progress; admins answered the same status questions every week. Leadership wanted a credible learning experience before the next intake — without a multi-year LMS megaproject. AVYRION was engaged to ship a focused portal MVP that staff and students would actually use.
Course content, attendance signals, and assignment status lived in disconnected tools. Students missed deadlines because ownership was unclear. Faculty spent hours answering “what is due” instead of teaching. Admins could not report cohort health without manual exports. The business problem was fragmented learner operations — not a shortage of PDFs.
Deliver LMS-style course delivery and student workflows as a maintainable MVP, not a feature clone of every enterprise LMS. Constraints included mobile-friendly learner UX, role clarity for faculty and admins, content migration from shared drives, and integrations for identity or payments only where required. Non-goals included a full video CDN rebuild and national-scale multi-tenant marketplace features in phase one. Success meant fewer admin chase-ups and clearer on-time completion — measured after the first live cohort.
AVYRION delivered a campus learning portal: course spaces, assignment and progress views, faculty tools, and admin reporting. Research with learners, faculty, and admins locked the MVP boundary before build. Content migration was planned with validation so launch was not blocked by messy drive folders. Mobile-friendly flows covered the highest-frequency student tasks. After go-live we used usage data to tighten reminders and support paths so the portal replaced chat archaeology instead of adding another login students ignored.
A React web app serves student, faculty, and admin roles against a Node.js API and PostgreSQL. Course content and progress ownership are modular so cohorts can grow without rewriting the core. Notification workers handle email (and optional WhatsApp) reminders for key deadlines. Hosted on AWS with CI deploys, environment separation, and audit-friendly admin actions. The platform leaves clean paths for assessments depth and third-party video providers without forcing a rip-and-replace.
“Students finally stopped asking where things lived — and faculty could see cohort health without a spreadsheet export.”
